I am building a site – using Atlanta – on a development server and plan to move it a production server.
(1) Can I assume that everything will migrate smoothly (and that I won’t be pulling my hair out)?
(2) What method is recommended for this move?thanx!
1. It’s always important to backup your site’s content before migrating.
2. To migrate your site to another address, I recommend you go over the following guide:

However, in order to change the site’s address, I recommend you use the following script (very carefully):

Thank you – let me clarify my question:
I will be physically moving (Exporting and Importing?) the site to a different server (regardless of the URL I will associate with it).
When I do this, I obviously want to move all of my content, and the theme and all the changes I have made.
Will a simple Export accomplish this?

Did you develop the site on the same domain address or is it on a local domain?
If all the developments were done on a different domain, you’ll have to use the script I sent you before:
