Hi,
I’m working with the Atlanta theme, with WPML (the site is in Hebrew (default) and English) and Slider Revolution. I created a multi-language slider for the homepage using the WPML option on the slider settings page.
But when trying to edit the slides, the “Edit Slide” page takes a long time to load, and eventually loads with a conflict related to the “Choose slide language” section. Clicking on the “+” button doesn’t show a small popup with the available languages (see screenshot here http://nimb.ws/31uqF0)
In the browser console, I get this error
edit_layers.js:22 Uncaught TypeError: wp.template is not a function
I’ve disabled all plugins (except WPML and Slider Revolution) but that didn’t help. Only after switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme the error disappear and the page was usable again (the Slider Revoluton WPML language switcher worked).
Please check and fix this bug.
Thanks,
Yaniv17/01/2016 at 17:03 #1071It seems that there some kind of JS error in the website that’s causing this problem.
Instead of the working with the translation option of the slider, create two different sliders and present each one with a different language.
If this doesn’t work, please send us access to a temporary user of your dashboard so we can check it out.
17/01/2016 at 17:31 #1072The JS error is caused by the Atlanta theme. As the theme comes bundled with Slider Revolution and is supposed to fully support WPML, I expect it to work with all options, without the need for workarounds. Please have a look at the error and fix it.
I have posted a temp user in a private reply.
Thanks!

25/01/2016 at 11:53 #1100When I switch the theme to Parent (Not child theme), all work’s perfect.
What you write in your child theme?
25/01/2016 at 13:02 #1101Nothing except for some custom CSS and a JS file (the JS file was uploaded) about a week after I encountered the issue.
25/01/2016 at 13:05 #1102In revslider panel I see that JS error:
ReferenceError: QTags is not defined
And I see you are write that code:
<script type="text/javascript"> QTags.addButton( 'h2-heading', 'h2', '<h2>', '</h2>'); QTags.addButton( 'h3-heading', 'h3', '<h3>', '</h3>'); QTags.addButton( 'h4-heading', 'h4', '<h4>', '</h4>'); </script>
Please remove that and check this again.
25/01/2016 at 13:32 #1103I fixed the QTags JS error, but that didn’t fix the Atlanta-Slider Revolution-WPML bug.
Also, I checked the parent theme and the bug is still exists, it’s not perfect as you say.
13/02/2016 at 13:43 #1131Any news regarding this?
