I’m using the Berlin theme. When I set a featured image for a page, the image is appearing at the top of the page. How can I disable this? To be clear, I need the featured image for various reasons, but do not want it to appear in the header.

    Thanks,
    Bart

Unfortunately, there is no option to hide the featured image once you have set it.
    This is it’s main function..

I would inquire also on WP forums. Maybe someone could offer a solution.

    Boaz,

I can’t accept your answer. Having a featured image is necessary for any WordPress page so it can be displayed on a blog or when shared. But YOUR theme puts the featured image in the header. This seems absolutely bogus to me. That is not a standard WordPress feature, that is a Pojo theme feature. Either this is a design flaw or needs to be able to be toggled on and off.

Please help to resolve this major issue.

    Thanks,
    Bart

    Hi Bart,
First, i want to apologize – You were right, there was, in fact, a bug in the theme.
So thank you for informing us about it, and sorry for the original reply. I wasn’t aware of this.

    And now, to the solution.
We didn’t want to make changes to your site, so here is what you should do:
    1. Go to this link and download the file.
    2. Replace this file with this one: berlin/loop/page.php

    This should work.

Please let us know that it is solve your issue.
