I’m attempting to showcase 3 different service models, similar to what you see on http://www.leadpages.net/ however without being able to change the background color of a column, it’s hard to do. An easy way to do this would be to change the background of a sidebar, and use the sidebar widget in the page builder to represent each model. Is it possible to change the background color of a sidebar, or is there a better way to do this that I’m not thinking of?

    Hello Bart,

Unfortunately there’s a built-in way to set a background color only for a section (in the Page Builder).

However, to set a background color for a widget you can give the widget a customized css class (widget > Settings > CSS Classes).

    For example: red-widget

Then in the Customizer > Live CSS you can insert the widget’s background color:

    .red-widget{background-color:#DC143C;} .
