    Hi guys,

I’ve been running on a development install and have recently changed the URL from the IP address to the final domain URL. When I tried to update the theme I got an unauthorised message so I added the new domain to the licence list. However, the site is still running on that IP and it’ll take a little while to ensure all the links are changed (most redirect automatically but there are a few static links).

I’m probably being paranoid, but before I deactivate the development URL I wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t break the site. Please confirm it is safe to do so!

    Many thanks,
    Arthur

p.s. I just built a new site in record time using Elementor – it’s awesome!! So much more stable than a similar product I’ve been using and best of all, multilingual – the advantages of you guys starting from a non-English base! Congratulations, this is going to make my life so much easier! (yes, I’ll leave feedback on wp.org soon when I get a moment!)

    Hi Arthur,
There shouldn’t be a problem for you to deactivate your DEV site.
It’s a common method and our customers are doing it all the time (Just make sure you don’t delete it before your permanent site is fully on).

As for Elementor – We are very glad to hear your feedback, and of course, if you can find few minutes to write a review, it will be great.

    Best,
    Boaz
