so again for brief question about translation:

when i have to translate several things in (toscana-) theme for frontend, i am given the opportunity to do via the provided default.pot and create custom language .po and .mo / so far so good.

    1. when i put these files into (predefined) ‘language’-folder in child, the translation is not recognized at all (even if the language does not exist in main theme).
    2. putting the files into main-theme ‘languages’-folder, they are recognized, but will be lost on next update.

    so how to act correctly???
editing the files from main and copying to child every time for ‘backup’ and putting back after every update? feels a bit complicated to me to be serious.

so whats the best (correct?) way without (!) plugin ???
